All I wanted to do today was run some speed but they closed track and locked it up. Instead I got lost on the Pleasanton ridge trails and went longer than I wanted ... oh well.

Foothill loop at a really nice pace. My legs felt great and overall it was a really nice run.

My first speed workout in quite a while. 5 x mile with a strict 2 minute recovery.

All in all I felt great and could have done more but starting small seems to be the wiser path.
