3 x 9 minutes with 2 minutes recovery. Then back on the track for 4 x 200. It was hot today and I felt terrible by the end. Still the 200s worked really well. I started just a hair faster than my pace for the intervals and went 39,37,34,32 ... close to what I wanted. These 200s are kind of an experiment aimed at making sure my body knows how to run a little faster when its tired. Next time I'll have to hit the first two harder but for a first execution when I was exhausted it was not too bad. |
